Description

Subject Matter:

Ossip Zadkine was primarily a sculptor but he also produced some graphic works such as The Three Wise Men. The print is structural and quite similar in style and form to several of Zadkine's three dimensional pieces. Zadkine was born in Belarussia and lived in Paris for many years of his life. He was influenced by Cubism (as evident in this print) and the School of Paris.

Physical Description:

This print shows a tangle of people and their limbs in black, yellow, and brown. It appears to be three figures nested together, moving left, reaching up towards the sky.
