Subject Matter:
This is a close-up photograph of a play horse on a merry-go-round ride. The shiny surface of the toy horse's body reflects gleams of light from the many fluorescent bulbs attached to the ceiling, visible in the distance. The horse's face is framed by two metal bars, presumably balancing bars for the carousel, which cut vertically through the composition.
