Description

Subject Matter:

Mel DiGiacomo is a multifaceted photographer, successful for his work with tennis photographs, and photographs that capture candid but compelling moments. Known for capturing fleeting emotion, DiGiacomo has a very diverse range of subject matter. He has shot internationally, creating many images from Antigua, where this was likely taken. This high-contrast photograph of a woman and two young children relaxing outside contrasts their dresses against dilapidated structures in a tropical climate.

Physical Description:

A photograph of a woman and two children. The woman sits on a bench and bends forward to engage with the young girl in front of her. Behind them, a young boy stands looking at the camera.
