Subject Matter:
Part of the School of Paris abstract painters, Singier is a master printmaker. This work is reminiscent of many of his lithographs that feature geometric shapes and lines on backgrounds of relatively flat color.
Physical Description:
This lithograph has a red circle, green triangle, blue rectangle, and black lines cutting across a light brown background. The print is signed and dated (l.r.) "G. Singier 65" and numbered (l.l.) "21/50" in pencil.
