Subject Matter:
The artist's work during the early 50s is characterized by simplification. The simplified depictions of statues and temples are reflected in his Aizu.
Physical Description:
This print depicts a winter scene in a small town. In the foreground is a tree with its shadow cast on the ground. Behind it is a small town with snow-covered roofs. In the very background is a forest and a dark sky. There is a signature and red seal on the bottom left corner.
