Description

Subject Matter:

This vase with curving lines on a square body presents a balance of angular and round lines in its form. The finial on the lid of the vase features a lion-shaped beast symbolizing power and good fortune. The four sides of the body of the vase are covered with floral and rockeries designs.

Physical Description:

A four sided vase with a neck that widens at the shoulders but gradually thins as it goes towards the bottom and slightly flares again at the foot. It has a lid shaped like a pyramid with an abstract handle. The vase is decorated with floral and leaf designs.
