This album leaf, entitled Waterfall on Mount Lu, was once part of the same album as Liu Yuanji’s "Riverside" (UMMA 1966/1.91). It personifies the elegance that is a trademark of the finest work by the artist Shao Mi.
A sacred mountain in south central China celebrated for its high peaks and steep waterfalls, Mount Lu has traditionally been a rich source of inspiration for Chinese artists and writers.
