Description

Physical Description:

A collage of different views of Cedar Hill neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut. Images of railroads, trains and railroad workers.
"Watering Hole" is a limited print from a series of investigations done in New Haven, Connecticut, telling the story of the Cedar Hill neighborhood--home to railroad employees and having over the years fallen on hard times. The drawing tours the city, tracing the physical and narrative links that account for its collective memory. It was used as a catalyst for a number of urban proposals and shown in exhibits in New Haven, New York, and Washington, D.C.
