This jar has a short spout attached to its shoulder. Long cracks extend across the body in two places. Traces of fine grains of sand supports remain on its low foot. Many jars of this shape have been discovered among white porcelain burial wares left in 17th century Joseon tombs. The color of the jar is somewhat darker than that of 16th century white porcelain, but that of this work is comparatively bright. The clay and glaze are both well sintered.
