UMMA Executive Committee

The UMMA Executive Committee is charged by the University Regents with advising the Director on issues of general policy, ethics, appointments, long-range planning, and strategic relationships. Founded in 1946, its membership is restricted by Regental charter to members of the University.

Specific roles and responsibilities include:

  1. Advise UMMA Director on high-level strategic operations.
  2. Review and approve of high-level Museum policy.
  3. Be an informed and supportive advocate for the Museum of Art.
