U-M’s Art Lending Collection

Curated by Jennifer Carty, Curator of Art in Public Spaces; and students in the Bridge Scholars Plus Program

Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Apse

This exhibition, installed for a limited time in UMMA’s historic Jonathan and Lizzie Tisch Apse, invites visitors to imagine how art might shape their everyday spaces.

At the close of the exhibition, student participants will choose a piece they’ll live with for the Winter 2026 semester—transforming the gallery experience into something far more personal: a room of one’s own.
