Join the UMMA Student Advisory Board in discussing books selected by Associate Director of Curatorial Affairs and Associate Curator of Photography, Jennifer Friess. Selections are inspired by the UMMA exhibition “Jarod Lew: Strange You Never Knew.”

Over coffee, tea, and pastries, explore ideas from “Stay True: A Memoir” by Hua Hsu and “On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous” by Ocean Vuong. Come having read one, none, or both. Find new meaning in the exhibition and connect the literature to the media.

Free and open to the public.
