About the Event

Join us for a fun afternoon of indoor activities at UMMA! Build, sculpt and play together with a series of creative activity stations for all ages:

  • Stack, connect, and design your own structures with colorful Duplo bricks—where will your creativity take you?

  • Build your own unique artworks using MagnaTiles, found objects, and more in the heart of UMMA’s galleries

  • Dive into the world of sculptors and their materials with illustrated stories

  • Explore textures and shapes with our tactile kits—perfect for little hands and curious minds

Connect with other families as you explore sculptures and build your own creations. UMMA volunteers will facilitate conversations about the art and guide you through the space.

NOTE: A photographer will be present. Please indicate during registration if you choose to not be photographed.

Need assistance with transportation costs or arrangement? Please indicate during registration or email Grace Christiansen at CEW+ (gracechr@umich.edu).
